I have a tenuous relationship with social media. Therefore, I have a tenuous relationship with my art. I draw therefore I am (an artist). I post that drawing to crickets and therefore I am not (an artist).

I’ve been thinking lately about how making art and moving my body — running, hiking, climbing — actually feel really similar. One is a state in which I’m probably the stillest you’ll ever find me, the other a sweaty muddy mess, and yet internally, they feel very similar.

Starting a novel, improving my sales funnel with Sumup and climbing towards my goals one rejection at a time… February, that bothersome short month that always leaves me feeling robbed of time.
