Painted Window Display
For this special Easter window display, cookie and dessert baker Dippd wanted to welcome in the Easter holidays and highlight their products and presence in the community.

When Dippd first came to me, they were looking for a playful, eye-catching illustration that felt celebratory, spring-led, and reflective of the bakery's larger-than-life treats.
I presented three initial concepts to the client. The first focussed on Dippd's in-house baking and fresh ingredients, the second highlighted their cookie box delivery service, and the third centred on the relaxed, social moments customers enjoy while sharing their products.
The client chose to move forward with the concept centered on Dippd's cookie delivery service. The design is framed with flora and fauna to create a festive, seasonal feel. During this stage, I also created quick subject studies including bunny sketches to ensure the final characters felt fluid, expressive, and full of energy.

Concept Development
The final design features a series of illustrated panels showing spring time animals enjoying oversized treats. I also illustrated an Easter bunny delivery rider cycling past on a bike stacked high with cookies and bakery boxes. The composition was dynamic and joyful, drawing attention from passersbys while clearly communicating the brand's offerings.

Painting the final window was a joyful, hands-on process and especially rewarding in one of my favourite cities.
For the project, I painted on the inside of the window using Liquitex bio-based heavy acrylic, a more environmentally conscious choice that reduces the impact compared to many traditional window-painting methods. Creating work inspired by nature in a way that is mindful of the environment feels like an important part of my practice.
