Hand Lettering

Here’s a collection of some of my hand lettering work, pulled from different projects. I’ve put this page together to show how lettering is a key part of my illustration skill set. Hand-drawn lettering can bring a unique touch to everything from branding and editorial designs to packaging and event invitations.

This bubbly lettering is inspired by a fabulous '80's hippy font' found on a vintage poster
This lettering was drawn riffing off a classic font found on many British pub chalk signs
This embellished and illustrative lettering is inspired by an alphabet of 12th century french lettering

A hand painted gouache poster featuring a mixture of varied styles, I created this piece as an exercise in hand lettering so my goal was to stylistically vary each line of lettering as well as incorporate lettering on a curve and at different angles
